Gender : Female Only. Marital Status : Anyone can perform.
No of days : 21days x 6 Cycles * Starting Day : Amavaysa or Pournami. Timing : Either 5am - 6am or 6pm - 7pm. Mantra : Attached in the package. Chant - Count : 21 times - Turmeric Cones. Direction - Yantra :
Facing - South.
Direction - Devotee : Facing - North.
Pooja - Deepam : No Lamp. Pooja - Hearing : Only the devotee. Dress Code - Pooja : Wearing a wet cloth. Place - Pooja : Any private room. * After 21 days of first cycle - wait to complete your menstural cycle, before you start the 2nd cycle of worship and follow the same rule to complete six cycles.
** 21 turmeric cones should be made out of turmeric powder for each Mantra recited and to be placed on the yantra as shown in the figure attached.
^ Tumeric cones are suppose to be removed after the pooja gets over and then they should be kept in a safe box. After 21 days, it should be offered to sea water or near by river / lake / pure water bodies.
^^ During pooja, no aarthi or dhoobh or bell sounds should be performed.
